Now that the ball is rolling at school I can organize my time better now.
Here’s some work on Chitori. As we’ve rebooted her character, she needs a new design to reflect her new character and personality.
I focused mostly on the face and hair design. I don’t believe there’s any note worthy attributes of her body below her waist that I need to focus on besides bust size in the future. Hopefully the expressions will help ground the type of character she is. I’m not quite sure about accessories, we’ll add those in soon.
I probably shouldve mentioned this before, but see if you can retain a child-like feeling to her, almost like she was sheltered for so many years. Well now that i think about it she probably was…lol
Interesting design. It gives a feel of “older” classmate type character. In my opinion (and possibly this is because it is in draft stage), I wish there was more “original” or modern school uniform design.
Yeah, we’re still working on a good school uniform look. I know I can’t settle on anything, mind giving some good examples that we can draw inspiration from nakura?
Nowadays, I think the most common pattern is blazer-styled uniform, rather than sailor uniform on this draft.
If you’re trying to look for the more “modern” or “realistic” uniforms, I think looking into present-day school-life manga, such as Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, Ao no Exorcist, Beezlebub, and etc.
If you want a more a bit of imagination put into the uniform, Angel Beats or Clannad could be used as reference. Most of these unique are from light novel illustration or visual novels.
