If you're trying to look for the more "modern" or "realistic" uniforms, I think looking into present-day school-life manga, such as Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, Ao no Exorcist, Beezlebub, and etc. If you want a more a bit of imagination put into the uniform, Angel Beats or Clannad could be used as reference. UNIQLO will probably provided are the "general" fashion that will cover the typical clothing for casual wear. Parco-City has different brands to choose from so I think that site will give you variety depending of the type of fashion you seek (I don't think Gothic were covered though...) However, I felt the clothing should have been more stylish. I can't say for sure how much a female would dress themselves up, but I think it would be safe to say that at least some fashion sense wouldn't hurt. It's not that I am saying your characters or drawing lacks taste, but I was thinking if this based on Japanese cutlure, or similar, DEFINITELY there would be some unique clothing style different from America (they have really flashy clothing).
